Review by Julian J. Schrader

Frederick Wheeler Reed Miller's album Boys In Khaki Boys In Blue Farewell Isabelle is a moving tribute to the soldiers who fought in World War I. This album is a collection of traditional folk songs that were popular among soldiers during the war. The songs are performed with great emotion and skill, and Miller's voice is powerful and evocative.

The album begins with the haunting ballad "Farewell Isabelle", which sets the tone for the rest of the album. Miller's rendition of this classic song is both mournful and uplifting, capturing the bittersweet emotions of soldiers leaving their loved ones behind to fight for their country.

Other standout tracks on the album include "The Battle of Passchendaele", a stirring song that describes the horrors of war and the bravery of the soldiers who fought in it. Miller's delivery of this song is raw and intense, making it one of the most memorable tracks on the album.
