Great Version Walter!!! Never heard this Artist before, i think very unknown here in Europe and maybe also in the US. I love also your 70's choice, you have a good Music taste!!! Thanks again for all the superb Uploads!!! Best Wishes!!!
@HeartVisions Thanks for commenting; it is appreciated.
Beautiful! I had this album at one time.
Of all the wonderful covers listed here, Dusty Springfield's version trumped them all....as usual. It was included on her empyrean "Dusty In Memphis" album. Read where Dusty was Carole King's favorite interpreter of her songs. No wonder....
I went to high school with Lisa in Tell City, IN. She was two years behind me. She is a beautiful gal, inside and out. I think this was her only album. She had a beautiful voice in high school and sang in all the plays, dramas, etc. She moved to Atlanta, and I believe, she won Miss Georgia one year in the early 70's. I know she married and had kids, but have no idea where she is now.
@HeartVisions Thanks for sharing that with us. I also don't have any idea as to what she's up to these days.
also done by Percy Sledge; Ken Boothe; Bobby Sansom; Blossoms; The Choir; Normie Rowe; and Henry III.
