The Rest of the Best is a compilation album by the Irish-British punk band, The Pogues. Released in 1992, the album features some of the band's most popular and well-known tracks, as well as some lesser-known songs.

The Pogues were known for their unique blend of Irish folk music and punk rock, and this album is a great representation of their style. The album kicks off with the classic "Dirty Old Town", a song that has become synonymous with the band. Other standout tracks include "A Pair of Brown Eyes", "Sally MacLennane", and "Fairytale of New York", which is arguably the band's most famous song.

The album also features some lesser-known tracks that are still worth a listen. "Boys from the County Hell" and "The Sick Bed of Cuchulainn" are both great examples of the band's storytelling abilities and their ability to mix traditional Irish folk music with punk rock.
